These terms cover your use of False Door, a game made and published by Falo Games. Installing or playing the game means you accept them.
Your licence
The game is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non‑transferable licence to install and play it on devices you own or control, for your own non‑commercial use. You may not rent, resell, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it.
Ownership of the content
All content in the game — art, audio, music, the writing and puzzle design, the Caretaker’s recorded voice, and the “False Door” and “Falo Games” names and marks — belongs to Falo Games and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, extract, modify or redistribute it, and you may not use it as training data or include it in a dataset for machine‑learning purposes. Screenshots and video of your own play for reviews, streams and coverage are welcome.
No warranty
The game is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we are not liable for lost save data. Keep your device backups.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
The App Store
Where the game is distributed through the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies, and these terms are between you and Falo Games only. Apple is not responsible for the game, its content or its support, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep the mandatory legal protections of your country of residence.
