These terms cover your use of False Door, a game made and published by Falo Games. By installing or playing it, you accept them.
Your licence
False Door is licensed to you, not sold. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to install and play it on devices you own or control for your own non-commercial use. You may not rent, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the game or any part of it.
Ownership of content
All content in the game — art, audio, writing, puzzle design, the Caretaker’s voice, and the False Door and Falo Games names and marks — belongs to Falo Games. You may not copy, extract, modify, redistribute, or use any of it as training data or in a machine-learning dataset. Screenshots and video of your own play for reviews, streams, and coverage are welcome.
No warranty
The game is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted or fault-free operation, and are not liable for lost save data. Keep your device backups.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
The App Store
Where False Door is distributed through the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and Falo Games only; Apple is not responsible for the game, its content, or its support, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep the mandatory legal protections of your country of residence.
